The SIFAS family takes great pride in introducing 3 new members; Mr. Shyamjith Kiran (Bharathanatyam Tutor), Mr Sivaraj (Keyboard & Vocal Tutor) and Mr P.Susanth (Carnatic Vocal Tutor).
1) Mr. Shyamjith Kiran
Shyamjithkiran, a young and vibrant Bharatanatyam artist hails from Kasargod, Kerala. He completed his three-year diploma course in Bharatanatyam Bhaskara, an institution founded by the eminent teacher Guru V.P Dhananjayan. He later learnt under the shade of the banyan tree of the Rukmini Devi College of Fine Arts, Kalakshetra Foundation, Chennai- the world reowned institute founded by the great revolutionary and guru of Bharatanatyam, Smt. Rukmini Devi Arundale. Shyamjitkiran joined SIFAS in January 2010
2) Mr. Sivaraj
Mr Sivaraj holds a M. PHIL Music degree First class in ThanjavurUniversity. He also holds Master’s degree in classical music (flute) and Bachelors degree (flute) from AnnamalaiUniversity. A versatile musician, Sivaraj is an accomplished (western,classical) key-board player and has written text book on teaching of key-board to students. He also has very good experience in orchestra work. He learnt music from guru Nager Koil N. Girish Kumar first and later came under tutelage of guru J. Martin Francis and David Periya Nayagam western key-board. Mr Sivaraj joined SIFAS as a key-board cum vocal tutor in January 2010.
3) Mr P.Susanth
Mr. P. Susanth has a Diploma in classical music from the famous Kalakshetra Foundation. He also has a First Class certificate in Higher Indian Music from the Government of Tamil Nadu. Endowed with a meticulous voice. Mr. Sushanth is a very experienced vocalist for dance concerts and has been a regular performer for several arangetrams, and Bharatha Natyam programmes over the last 8 years in India and Malaysia. Mr. Sushanth joined SIFAS as a vocal tutor in February 2010.
